WHITEWASH: The Disturbing Truth
About Cow’s Milk and Your Health
by Joseph KeonWriting a comprehensive book while at the same time making it an interesting read is a literary accomplishment. In Whitewash, Dr. Keon, a nutritionist, fitness expert and wellness consultant, exposes a wide range of dangers associated with dairy products, supported by scientific research cited in each chapter.

While so many of us were raised to embrace milk products as a normal part of our diet, the health risks of milk, butter, ice cream, and even yogurt contain substances that would shock most people. Of course we want to trust the manufacturers, but the reality paints a far different picture about dairy than what we are “fed” by their marketing. This includes not only the surprising toxicity of milk, but also the horrific conditions that cows suffer, treated as machines for profit.

How about radioactivity? Ever connect this to milk? Neither did I, but there’s enough evidence to consider it. And how about the fact that humans are the only animals that drink milk past infancy, and the milk of another species (unless we force it on our cats!).

Facts support all assertions, with plenty of advice for making the transition to a tasty diet free of dairy. With an introduction written by John Robbins, Whitewash is a must-read for anyone interested in the truth.

THE HEART’S NOTE: Sounding Love in Your Life from Your Heart’s Secret Chamber

THE HEART’S NOTE: Sounding Love in Your Life from Your Heart’s Secret Chamber

This is a spiritual work based squarely in the real world. Five simple chapters filled with short sections on strategies, meditations, prayers, tools, examples, quotes and especially compassion make for more of a companion than a book. About what, you ask?

The essential, foundational idea is heart consciousness, the place where we access infinite amounts of love and connection. The book presents a far broader definition of love by drawing from an intriguing variety of sources; this expanded explanation invites us into a vastly different realm, where struggle in relationships becomes unnecessary, and meaningful connection ever more present.

Pearce is a phenomenally talented writer, constructing thought-provoking sentences that demand the reader’s full attention. The writing is rich, brilliant, and mystical, asking deep consideration of the reader to all that the author is presenting - or rather, revealing. Using techniques honed through thirty years as a renowned voice coach and sound healer, Pearce expertly guides us to uncover the love we all yearn for. He shows us how the “voice of the heart” is always available, opening a path towards a less judgmental, more fulfilling life.

LIVE YOUR TRUTH: 26 Inspiring Concepts – A to Z

LIVE YOUR TRUTH: 26 Inspiring
Concepts – A to Z

In an effort to really offer the reader as much information as possible, some authors tend to obscure the main message with too many related concepts and ideas. In Live Your Truth, Adamo is as clear as a writer can be. In fact, the preface is among the most genuine you’ll find, a succinct and personal offering of hope and reassurance, outlining how she moved towards a more authentic, truth-filled life by becoming her dream, a writer.

Adamo shares this dream by offering twenty-six tips for improving the quality of your life. The uniqueness of her work is how each tip is only one page in length: on the left is the title, a supportive quote, and beautiful photography, while on the right is the text. For those looking to delve into self-improvement, yet feel daunted by the idea of reading an entire book , your answer has arrived.

An extremely useful feature is the additional tips for educators, parents, and youth group leaders. This is also a great book to hand your child or teenager, a concise yet comprehensive guide for developing their personality and following their dreams. But perhaps the most important “feature” is how the book helps people avoid regrets, by making the right choices in every situation.
