Weekly Astrology for December 7, 2020 by Chris Flisher
A rather confusing week may unfold as the Sun comes into an alignment with Neptune. Neptune is the planet that involves deception, confusion, and lack of clarity on all counts. This alignment (a square geometrically) may also undermine our personal sense of surety. Doubts may linger and go unresolved, for example. Second guessing is also likely and a bit of a problem, because all of us should trust our inner instinctive voice before changing horses mid-stream. Many of us (depending on the coordinates of our personal birth charts) may begin to have doubts about paths we have chosen or relationships we are constrained by. Given the nature of this alignment we are better off waiting for the dust to settle before jumping to conclusions or acting rashly. Do you know how this might impact you? Schedule a time with me to determine where this theme might unfold in your life setting. It will be clearly evident in the alignment of the planets in your own journey. Knowing this can help you adjust accordingly and avoid unnecessary consequences. The only problem with this overarching alignment is that we can easily ascribe problems to it that do no exist. In other words, we can find situations where this can apply, but the question is: should it apply. This is the shadowy trick of Neptune; obscure and confuse, rightfully or wrongfully. Discretion is the operative word for all of us. Check, check and recheck that things seem awry because they might not be what we imagine them to be.
Expect to discover new dirt on both candidates as their opponents dig for scandal and fraud from past lives. While this unfolds on the national stage what can we expert in our own lives? Where is that happening in your life? Do you know? Contact me at email@example.com. WWW.turningofthewheel.com, www.chrisflisher.com.
To add fuel to the fire, we start the week with a new Moon in Libra. Even though a Libra new moon can be seen as a harbinger of light, beauty, harmony and equality, this particular new Moon will also square the power cluster moving through Capricorn. Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto and still hovering in the late degrees of Capricorn and the heat may become explosive as diplomacy, beauty, harmony and equality evaporate just when we need them the most. It is in such difficult times that the heat brought about by these challenging aspects draws the ire of each of us as we try and find a stable place from which to envision our future. When the curtain is pulled aside and we see the truth in blatant form we may change our opinions about where we are and where we are going and most importantly, how we get to where we need to go. It may have been said many times, but we are at an historic crossroads; one that will likely reverberate well into the next century and subsequent generations. What responsibility do we bear to correct the course of events? Will future generations be as benevolent towards us when they look back at how we turned our backs on decency, the planet, the environment, and civility amongst our citizens? We cannot move forward divided. We must stand together to thwart the onslaught of misbegotten agendas and power struggles. Where will you feel it? ARIES (March 21-April 19): You are driven to accomplish this week. Your ruler, Mars, is in Aries and you are on the hunt for a meaningful project that you can immerse yourself in. Bravo to you dear Aries, but be careful not to overshoot the target and keep your expectations real and grounded.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): The planet of the unexpected sits in Taurus this week so be prepared for anything. If you were born in the 1980s you may be experiencing your Uranus return which can signal a time of great disruption. This is often referred to as the mid-life crisis alignment, so be very careful with relationships and their temptations.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Be on the lookout for possible business connection failures this week. Lunch plans may fall through and your resume might not get forwarded as you planned, etc. It is important not to overthink this as you can ascribe problems where none exist. Trust your gut on this and give things time to settle.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): The Moon is in Cancer this week which presents a double hit of possibility. Sensitivity and nurturing are key themes for you. Sensitivity is a wonderful quality if used properly, but also unnecessarily volatile if taken too seriously. Ease up. Not all things are about you. A casual comment may be just that, not an attack on your fragile ego.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You may be on the cusp of a dramatic and emotional reckoning this week. Take this opportunity to re-evaluate your response to such an event and try to find the lesson that is sewn into the fabric of the emotions.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You are likely in the midst of a creative make-over this week. This can be an exciting time of discovery and implementation so grab ahold and see what transpires. This could be a very encouraging experience.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Venus, one of your ruling planets, lingers nearby and casts a glow of attraction and beauty. Venus loves to shine on all things beautiful and you are it this week. Bask in the glow.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): This should be a great week to draw attention to yourself. You may be well-received by all counts so take advantage of the attention. Using your investigative powers you could discover quite a bit.of information that could change your public status.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Words may carry an extra punch this week so choose them wisely or regret what you have said. Your far-reaching view of the world may not jive with everyone else’s. Be mindful and do not push.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): A major growth-spurt lies in wait for you this week as Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all gather in Capricorn for a conjunction. This powerful collection of planets can work wonders for you if you can seize the moment and act accordingly. Take cautious chances.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): There is no question about it. You are on the edge of an entirely new direction. While the unknown may be daunting, you can also regard it as a fantastic adventure. Go boldly where few dare to go.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Neptune rules the week for you Pisces. A veil of confusion is highly possible under these skies so be aware of complications and misread messages. If you are in doubt about a major decision you might do well to pause. Work connections and business relationships may be testing your patience this week. While this short term influence may be annoying on one level, think of the lessons you may be learning as a result.
